Are there home drug tests to test for prescription drug abuse?

Presciption drugs like ADHD medicines? Thanks!!!

1. No. blood has to be sent to a lab. Even a pee test at the jail will only show illegal drugs. It would be very rare for someone who was prescribed an ADHD med. ( and needed it),to abuse it. That would just make them VERY sleepy. They wouldn't want that. Of course people for whom it is not prescribed , who are looking for a dangerous high, could abuse it. Whoever owns the drugs needs to keep it on their person.
2. Yes--in part. Urine tests will show abuse of amphetamines such as adderall but will NOT show abuse of ritalin (methylphenidate) since that does not show up.
