How accurate is a blood pregnancy test after 12 days?

I took a blood pregnancy test 12 days after the sex and it was negative. I'm freaking out that I'm pregnant.. Do you think the test was accurate?

1. yes blood tests can tell as early as 5 days after conception
2. How long after your last period were those 12 days? Did you already miss a period? Usually, blood tests are a lot more sensitive than even early response home pregnancy kits. So I'd go with it being accurate.
