Does medicare cover pregnancy blood tests?

Does medicare cover pregnancy blood tests? I live in Australia and in the state of ACT. Not America! :)

1. They would probably cover a blood test pregnancy test. Not one you pee on
2. Yep, Im from SA and have had a few done and not been billed for them. Its covered under medicare but as the previous post says they dont cover the initial pregnancy test (unless it is a blood test). Im on medicare and not private health and have had no problems or out of pocket expenses as yet- im 17 weeks pregnant.
