How early can Blood Tests be accurate for pregnancy?

So I got my blood work back and they said i am pregnant, when only a week ago was when we last had sex. So how early are they accurate?

2. A blood test is 100% accurate. You don't mention when you had sex any other time other the a week ago being the "last time". By the mention of your additional comments, I would surmise this was not your first time.
