Blood Drug Testing

How long does it take to get blood tests results back? And can you go anywhere in specific to get them sooner?

Im from Melbourne in Australia by the way.. just a little curious i've never usually been in hurry to get results and i looked on the net but it just gives me answers for america! also how many dpo does pregnancy show up in blood test results?

1. Hello! The pregnancy hormone in a blood test usually shows up way sooner that a HPT, I've heard 2 weeks at least. Good luck!! Baby dust to all!
2. The soonest time to get blood drawn for HCG is 10 dpo (but it *could* still be early). Just tell your doctor that you want the results ASAP and he can write "STAT" on the slip that you take to the lab. Results should be in within 4 hours.
3. Hi there, I'm from Melbourne and I'm 10 weeks pregnant. Blood tests for pregnancy come back really quick. If you had them in the morning (before 11am) you can get your results after 4pm the same day. If you have your blood test after 11am you will have to wait until the next day. Blood test are pretty good at picking up your hCG but it depends what your levels are. A blood test usually can pick up if your pregnant as early as a couple of days after your period is due where sometimes it could be a week or 2 before it detects it. Good luck
