How long do blood test results take back?

To check if im pregnant.Im almost positive that im pregnant since i have all the same symptoms that i had from my son but i had 3 negatives adn the same thing happened last time i was pregnant..I had all false positives for some strange reason then one positive.So im going to get a blood test.Do they send it to the lab and then get the results back later or do they run it right there?Like prick your finger or something and check it?

1. I think it took about a week to get the blood test results back with my daughter. But I already knew cuz my HPT came back positive. Good luck & Baby dust!
2. It depends on where u go.At a dr office 1-2 weeks is norm.,but when i found out i was prego with my son they did a blood test and told me in 3 hrs.I wasn't there for my pregnancy i was there for the a car acc. i dont know if they would have been back so soon if i didnt need an xray
3. Every time I've had blood work done it only takes a day or two tops to get the results. My doc always calls the day after I had labs done to let me know the results. They won't prick you finger, they will actually draw a tube of blood. If you have the test done tomorrow morning you should get the results by tomorrow afternoon. If they don't call you by the next day then call your doc and ask. Good luck
4. You will probly not get the results at the lab. Mine took about 30 hrs, I heard 24 hrs is normal. Good luck!
5. I'm in the same boat but with my first baby. I went in last night for blood work and although they have a lab on site they said mine would likely be sent off site (perhaps because they are checking for other possibilities than pregnancy too, like anemia). They drew the blood from my arm into a small vial, took about 5 mins from start to finish. I called today because I'm that anxious and they told me no later than 10 business days, but since I'm getting my results emailed directly from the lab that it shouldn't be more than 7 days. If your doctor is like mine, they will make you pee first... I was kind of pissed about that because I already knew it would come back negative. Good Luck!
