Blood Drug Testing

Blood test and cancer?

I went to the DR. today to get this lump checked out on my leg. She also knows that I have been very tired and fatigued latley so she thought it might be MONO or ANEMIA, so I had a blood test done and everything came back negative, so my question is would that blood test even though there not specifically looking for it show if I had leukimia? Or is just that blood test show if I do or not?

2. Cancers can not be diagnosis with a blood test alone. But the blood test can indicate if there is some that's needs to be looked at a little more closely.
3. Both answers above are correct. Cancer cannot be diagnosed by a blood test alone. However, if you had leukemia it would not be normal and they would not have to look for leukemia specifically.
