  1. A urine test and a blood test both give roughly a 30 day report of drugs ingested. A hair sample can hold up to five years of information.
  2. Hugh difference urine does not detect tons of PED. Their no hiding from the bolled tests. Urine tests are a joke.
  3. Some P.E.D.'s can't be detected through urine and that's why blood testing is a more advanced way of insuring both men are clean. There have also been several instances where fighters like Keven Randallmen former Heavyweight Champion of the UFC have submitted fake urine samples, with blood testing that impossible.
  4. Most of the P.E.D's can be traced by urine sample such as EPO. In fact EPO is traced by urine not Thorughly by blood. If both blood and urine is used after the fight, it is almost impossible to beat the system but regardless anything can happen. I think people often exaggerate about the usage of steroids. It doesnt make you super human just because you are on it. Us fans even if we take steroids, these pros will still beat the heck out of us. Ricardo Mayorga, Shane Mosley, and Fernando Vargas did not display a super human strenght and when they use steroids. talent, heart, courage, discipline, commitment and skill is what makes you a great boxer. To me those are more important elements to achieve a boxing success than steroids. Marion Jones passed the Olympic Drug Testing even thought she was on steroids. Her blood was unable to detect EPO. The only way she tested positive for EPO was when her urine was tested. This is a a fact. EPO can be tested by urine sample and HGH is unecessarily to use among any weight classes except the Heavyweight because all boxers below the heavyweight have to lose weight, even Pacquaio who walks around at 150-155 had to lose weight to face Cotto. In fact urine testing is more expensive than blood testing because it is a more effective way to trace EPO than blood testing. Being tested after the fight immediately would certainly trace any usage of P.E.D's because most P.E.D's, especially those who are effective and powerful stay in the system for 24 hours and boxers get tested almost immediately after the fight. This is my source, relying on facts and proof is what matters in this issue: http://www.letsrun.com/2003/epoqa.php
