How accurate are the blood pregnancy tests? how early can they tell you?

lol 6% of HPTs come back as false negatives i think i fall into that catagory. last pregnancy i got false neg. 1 every week after conception i didn't find out until 6 wks i won't be so easily convinced this time

  1. Blood tests are definitive when it comes to pregnancy tests. They can detect minimal amounts of HCG in the system, way before an HPT will. Between 7-10 days after conception is the earliest a blood test will confirm pregnancy for you. Blood tests are always 100% accurate. 6% of HPTs come back as false negatives.
  2. they can tell about 2 days past implantation and implantation can take up to 8 days past ovulation so it really can vary. . .
  3. I've read that the earliest a blood test can determine pregnancy is about 6 days after sex/ovulation. I had one done 2 days before my period at 11dpo and it showed that I was pregnant.
