was this too early to have gotten a blood pregnancy test?

about 2.5 weeks after having protected sex (also on birth control), i had to get my monthly blood work done for Accutane, which includes a test for female pregnancy. the test came back negative, but i am always nervous that it could have just been too soon to tell. i'm not sure how early blood tests detect pregnancy accurately, but i know it's far sooner than home tests. if anyone has any idea, i would appreciate it so much.

If you had a condom and the pill you are very unlikely to get pregnant. You are VERY smart to be extra careful while on accutane. Remember, if you get pregnant on accutane your baby WILL have birth defects. That is why more states don't even prescribe it anymore. My dermatologist refuses to prescribe it anymore because of the serious effects on your liver and unborn babies.
Calm down. I doubt your pregnant. Protected AND birth control!!! Youll be fine. But your doctor should be able to tell you if it was too early to know
