Blood Drug Testing

Anyone get a positive home pregnancy test, but a negative urine test at the doctors office?

I went into my doctors today and got a urine test done to confirm pregnancy however it came back negative. I haven't had a period or even anything normal for a while. ive taken some home pregnancy tests which all come back positive. Im at least 5 weeks or more. Anyone have this happen to them? I also got blood work done today but wont know any results till Monday.

1. YES! I took 8 pregnancy tests, all were positive. I went to the doctors to confirm, they did a urine test, which ccame back negative. Waited two more days, took another home test, it was still positive. So I went back to the doctor, had them do blood work. And that came back positive. I had my daughter in January
2. This happened to my friend. I remember her telling me that they used tests which looked like the ones from the pound shop. She used a more expensive first response one for her positive result. I guess the docs tests just are not as sensitive even though they use them to detect early pregnancy Good luck xxxx
3. well id have to say after taking a few home ones that they would be right....i mean after one its iffy they can mess up but so can doctor ones. if you did the ones at home in the morning then your harmone level may be higher! which is how the pee tests work...off harmone levels! so ya the doctor one could totaly be wrong..... i hope all goes well for you monday best of luck hunn!
