Are home marijuana drug tests less accurate?

I'm trying to find out if a home drug test is less accurate than say, a drug/alchohol program's drug test

1. Yes because, like pregnancy tests, they are not up to professional standards, but most are still fairly accurate. If you want to know for sure, than go to a professional
2. Most places administer a generic urine test, which can be inaccurate occasionally (rarely though). The most accurate form is when they test you with a hair sample. Since hair follicles will absorb most drug residue/retain for months (possibly years, though I doubt it), it is mainly used for government positions/police recruitment.
