what happens if you test positive for THC in a work related drug test?

I have to take a drug test to get a job and i am doing everything i can to get it out of my system. But what do work places do if you test positive for THC.

1. They probably fire you.
2. If you test positive on a pre employment screen they won't hire you. If you test positive on a random test they will fire you.
