Blood Drug Testing

can they check for cancer through a finger blood test?

i'm terrified of needles and i refuse to have a normal blood test. can a doctor check your blood for cancer markers through a finger prick test? or is that not enough blood sample to test from?

1. No, that is not enough blood for testing and unless you are a previous cancer patient or they are looking for a cancer of the blood,it will probably not give them a lot of information of your cancer status from even a normal blood test.
2. Unlikely. Even a full blood test rarley can spot cancer unless its a blood cancer or the cancer is far advanced.
