Blood Drug Testing

im getting my thyroid checked and blood tests but i took a couple sips of dr pepper?

do i have to wait to do it now because they said not to eat or drink anything after midnight and i took a couple drinks of dr pepper before i realized it was 1am so do i have to wait now? will it affent the test?

1. If the instructions were nothing to eat or drink after midnight and you ate or drank after midnight, you'll have to reschedule your tests, at least the ones that have to be drawn fasting. You can still probably get your thyroid testing done, but unless you want to be stuck twice, you should probably reschedule your tests. It would be a shame to have that Dr. Pepper screw up the results. You would just have to get the tests redone.
