Can doctors tell if you have thyroid problems through blood tests?

1. This is the main (only?) way thyroid problems are diagnosed.
2. Yes. They should test T3, T4 and TSH to be thorough.
3. Yes they can. Make sure they are testing for TSH, Free t3, Free t4
4. Yeah, because that's how I found out I have an under-active thyroid. ;DD ♥
