Blood Drug Testing

Where can I find information on blood tests?

Part of a presentation that I'm doing involves me writing about Chemistry's involvement in blood tests. I've looked all over the internet, and all I can find is information about what goes on during a blood test. Could anybody tell me in detail, or do they know where I could find information on what goes on in the lab, like what chemicals they add, colour changes they look for, and why the colour changes etc. Thanks (:
