How reliable are those at home drug tests?

I just took an at home test for marijuana/Thc detection. It came out negative but can I trust the results? I made the mistake of smoking it about a week ago and I have a urine screening tomorrow for a job interview.

Well, it really depends, different tests can be more or less accurate, although, pee tests are not the most accurate in general... you should be alright, but if your really worried, or just want to be sure you pass, here is the best method: Buy Certo at a supermarket, its a form of gelatin. You mix one package of Certo with a bottle of Orange Gatorade. It has to be Orange due to the ingredients and color. Gatorade has the ingredients found normally in urine. So drink this mixture 2 hours before your test. This will coat your urinary tract, so what you drink is what you piss after that. After drinking the mixture, drink water afterwards. GOOD LUCK!
6. If you used a Redwood Biotech "Reditest" container, its more sensitive than a lot of simple pass/fail machines in use. If you used it properly, and the control showed up positive but it showed up negative for marijuana, you're in the clear.
