How accurate are blood pregnancy tests?

My last period started on December 22nd and had unprotected sex with my boyfriend on January 1st. My OB/GYN did a blood pregnancy test on January 10th. It was negative. I also took 2 First Response Home pregnancy tests (the 6 day early response one) this weekend. I usually start my period 25-26 days. I didn't start yet and I was wondering how accurate these tests were!? Any help/info is greatly appreciated! Ok... I am supposed to start my period today and I have not started. I had a urine test done in the doctor's office last night and it was negative...still worried...could I be pregnant?

2. Blood test are very accurate, way more accurate than hpts so if it said that ur not pregnant than ur not pregnant.
