Blood Drug Testing

Have you ever wondered why the dr has 8 or more vials of blood drawn for lab test?

I jokingly ask the ER dr last night if he thought that was enough of my blood. He said, what we don't need we can sell on Ebay.

7. He probably ordered a battery of tests and different colored vials are required. Our lab tech draws 'just in case' tubes in case the doctor thinks of another test he wants and you won't have to get re-stuck. =)
