Cyst blood tests results tomorrow! ?

I have a rather large misshapen Cyst on my ovary, my doctor is rushing tests to find out more on it. I just wondered if cancer can show up on blood test results? Members of my family have had cancerous Cysts at around my age!

2. I'm in the same position as you and will also find out my results tomorrow. When they test your blood, a protein called CA125 can show and a normal range for people is 0-36. If your results show your CA125 levels are above 36 then they will need to investigate further. However, this does NOT mean you do have ovarian cancer. These blood tests alone will not determine whether you do or not. They will probably want to monitor and investigate it for some time now just as they are doing with me. Try and not worry, hard I know because I am worried and nervous about my results. But remember, either way, they are going to want to follow up and investigate. Like me, they may suggest doing a laparascopy to see what type of cyst it is etc. Good luck!
