Blood Pregnancy tests?
Exactly how accurate are blood pregnancy tests? I would have concieved between the 10 and 25 of January. Went for a blood test on March 1 , came up negative. Is this trustworthy? (Also neg. HPTs)
Public Comments
- Yes it is! A blood pregnancy test can detect pregnancy as soon as 5 days of conception. So I would say if both blood and urine came back negative then negative it is. Good Luck!
- When I was three months (give or take) pregnant last year, I had a negative blood test and countless negative HPTs. It took a miscarriage to find out I was pregnant. For most women blood tests are very accurate though
- VERY accurate and trustworthy!
- Yep. Blood tests don't lie. Best of luck hun, don't give up!
- I would trust the blood test. They are about 99.9% accurate which means the chances of it being wrong are slim to none. So if both your blood test and your HPT are coming back negative chances are you are not pregnant.
- @Brandy.....How did you know the miscarriage wasn't just your peorid? The chances if that many negative blood tests ate slim to none. A miscarriage is much like a peorid.
