Blood Drug Testing

Are blood pregnancy tests reliable at 11 days after ovulation?

My cycles vary from 28-35 days, today is the 29th of it and I ovulated 11 days ago. I hate wasting time and money on home preg tests, so I paid $10 @ the hospital lab for bloodwork and they said it was negative. I don't know if I should accept defeat this month or still keep aware that I may be pregnant and not drink etc.

1. my doctor told me that blood tests can tell when your pregnant exactly 2 weeks after conception. you can go to the dollar store or freds and get a pregnancy test for a dollar. it worked for me :)
