Blood Drug Testing

I had Blood in urine, what can cause this?

4 months ago I had blood in urine, I think it was from a broken vessel in the tip of the penis because it always came out first then quickly cleared to normal urine and there was a slight burning sensation around the tip after urinating.I had comprehensive tests including a cystoscopy,ultra sound,blood tests and rectal examination.Nothing abnormal was found, no kidney stone and no infection then after 3 weeks it cleared up completely.What can cause this?

1. I think you are not drinking water. drink water more and drink less carbonated drinks etc
2. sometimes if you get hit in your kidneys really hard it can cause blood to pass through into your urine
3. yes that guy is right...too much junk drinks...not enough water...that happend to me...i was peeing they i see dark maroon stuff on the toilet bowl...Wtf?...lol...
4. Nothing to worry.May be small internal injury which might have healed
