Blood type/testing Question?

I want to know my blood type amd called the hospital where i had blood tests done on for passing out . Would they know my blood type ? I also had a mono spt test done along with a hemoglobin test done at labcorp what would be my best bet to call will eitheor of them have me blood type? Its bot on my birth certificate

1. They probably wont. A special test needs to be done in order to determine blood type, this test costs lab time and money, so isn't done unless necessary.
2. My guess is that neither place would have it if it wasn't specifically ordered by a physician. The best way to find out your blood type is to donate blood at your local blood center. You, the donor, will get your type and usually a cholesterol evaluation and it's all free! Plus, you would be helping out possibly four people with your donation! It only takes like 30 minutes, that's it!
