Am I cancer free after blood tests and xray?

I went in to the ER due to intense back and abdominal pain, I thought for a while I had cancer due to the other symptoms I had with the pain, persistant cough, fever, irregular bowels, decrease in appetite. Im only 25 but didnt think my age really mattered, im sure you can have cancer at any stage. Anyway I went in and the doctors did a complete set of blood tests and a series of xrays and an ultra-sound. All of these tests came back normal. I never asked the doctor to check if I had any cancer and im not sure if any of those tests they did will even detect cancer. If my lab results were normal and my xrays were as well should I consider myself cancer free?

1. just do not worry and trouble yourself if you still have a suspicion you can get the same tests done again after a few months say six months

3. It depends on the kind of cancer you are referring to and what part of the body the x-ray was taken. Age does matter. Cancer is not diagnosed with a blood test. Doctors do not “check for cancer”. They run tests to determine what is wrong, whatever it may be.
