How accurate are at home drug tests?

I bought a at home drug test and passed it. I had a real drug test for work today and was wondering how accurate a at home one is. And does diluting your urine matter? Because I didn't dilute the one for work. And the drug test was for THC I took 2 hits of a joint Sunday and had the test today. I passed the at home one.

1. No one ever wants to hear this, but I'm going to be straight with you. Not all jobs require drug testing. If you feel that you MUST smoke pot, then you have to change jobs. If you want to keep any job that does random drug testing, then you MUST stop doing illegal drugs. It's your choice. It's not a pleasant choice, but there it is...
2. I am a former Medical Marijuana patient. At home drug tests are poor. They often fail to disclose THC use. Diluting urine can be detected, and may mean an automatic failure.
