Will cannabis (pot) food cause you to test positive on a saliva drug test?
I'm just wondering hypothetically. If someone eats a decent amount of pot food, and takes a saliva test the next day, will they test positive? Please post references for verification if possible, or thoroughly explain reasoning if hypothesizing.

- I'm pretty sure you would. I used to work at a bagel store and there was this bagel with a seed that would make you show up positive on the test, but you need to eat alot of them. So yeah I think it would show up.
- yes, Generally every time you smoked, your body metabolized and the blood carries it around depositing little bits of the THC here and there and at the same time some of this metabolites get out whit ur urine, sweat etc... If u ingested, rather than smoked, it takes longer to be absorbed into the blood, usually from 20 minutes to an hour and a half... and u will stay high for longer ,but after then its a same process. Now ,oral fluid-based drug tests can generally detect use during the previous few hours to 1-4 days/ max time Iv heard was10 days from daily smoker ... detection times can vary considerably based on amount and quality of the pot, speed of ur metabolism and the cutoffs used .. saliva tests does not have nationally accepted standards or cutoff concentration for detection. So.. 50-50
