Liver blood test and MRI of right ear?

I have a humming sound on my right ear . I went to my ear doctor and he ordered to run a Liver test and MRI of my right ear. I have been suffering from Tinnitus for a long time , but my Tinnitus is in both ears like crickets singing all the time, this is something different. I wonder why he ordered Liver blood test and MRI..?

1. The MRI and liver tests were done to tell whether or not the tinitis was due to your liver or something in your head. I have had ringing in the ears for a long time. There is no real solution. They say getting plenty of sleep and keeping a low salt diet will help.
