Blood Drug Testing

If a ordinary blood testing lab gives report as "Azoospermia", what does it mean?

Is it total absence of sperms or low/poor measurable sperm count needed for pregnancy.

  1. Azoospermia is the medical condition of a man not having any measurable level of sperm in his semen. It is associated with very low levels of fertility. Azoospermia has two forms: obstructive azoospermia, where sperm are created, but cannot be mixed with the rest of the ejaculatory fluid due to a physical obstruction, and; non-obstructive azoospermia, where there is a problem with spermatogenesis.
  2. Azoospermia is the term used when there is a complete adsence of sperm in the ejaculate. Most patients assume that this diagnosis would rule out the possibility of his ever conceiving a child. If there are no sperm how can there be conception ? However the reality is that a semen analysis which shows the absence of sperm in the ejaculate does not rule out either the possibility that sperm is being produced and not delivered to the semen, or that inteventions may help the man produce sperm. In old school [ allopathy medicine ] this problem may be done through operation, etc. but through homeopathic system of medicine, we treated by using small amount of similimum homeopathic remedies which based on symptomatology of the patients. Even in those cases where after intervention there still no sperm in the ejaculate, there may be a possibility of havesting small amounts of sperm, which has been produced in the testes as a result of intervention.
  3. I believe it is absence of sperm. Check with your Dr. though. Friend was diagnosed with it, found out he actually had 1 or 2 sperm, did lots of IVF treatments and wife became pregnant. Good luck, if you are trying to conceive.
