Blood Drug Testing

How many types of blood tests r there? what r the standard units for an adult? can anyone focus on it?

for example, we test blood for tc, dc, esr etc, etc. on blood report it is being mention as units. Again we have to go to physian to veryfy wheather it is high or low. so, if we can know the standard unit for an adult, may be helpful.

1. It depends on the test that is being performed. Some reported as micrograms per deciliter, parts per million, or an actual count of cells. Some tests, like blood alcohol are in a grams percent report. Again, depends on the test being run and the machine that is performing the test. You can search on line for normal values for most blood tests. If you have the copy of it in your hand, it usually gives the normal values next to your level.
