help, what types of blood tests can you go for when going to find out your pregnant??

what i mean is there's different types of blood tests, what are they called

1. I think they just draw blood and test it for pregnancy.
2. They do a whole blood panel. The test your blood levels, for diseases like Heb and HiV and some other STD's. They took like 4 or 5 vials of blood from me. Good luck.

4. They only draw blood to see if you are pregnant. There is no certain name for this test but quanitive blood test.

But the other one is just like the others said a Pregnancy blood test. You can get one by calling your doctor to order the blood test to see if you pregnant. Those tests show if you are even a couple days pregnant! And they can also do a sonogram, which is an internal ultrasound, to see if theres a baby in there and to see if everythings right, but these are uncomfortable, i wouldn't suggest it, but you know the results immediately. 7. At your first prenatal appointment they will give you an order to get blood drawn to test for HIV, syphillis, rubella, other stds, rh factor, and a normal blood workup for red blood cells, white cells, etc.
8. There are two types of blood tests.... 1- Qualitative- measures a yes or no 2- Quantitative- measures how pregnant you are (how far along) and gives a number of hcg that u have in your blood... Usually...the qualitative ones are just as sensitive as a clearblue easy digital test so its not any good...
