- no way
- I do not think so.
- Absolutely not. The person doing the testing either goofed up, or your friend is feeding you a line.
- Only if there has been a bone marrow transplant given to the person then yes. Also If you belong to the blood group 0 (null), you have neither A or B antigens on the surface of your red blood cells but you have both A and B antibodies in your blood plasma
- No I dont think so, they may have just made an error at the hospital.
- he needs to be tested, and most likey he could be O- That is what I think, If he is o he can give blood to any one!!! he relay needs to find out, because if he needs blood and they give him the wrong kind he will die!
- Yes I think it's possible. The mother could of been pregnant with twins one dies and merges with the living fetus and some way or another the blood types stay different. Maybe possibly that's what happened to your friend
- ONE BLOOD TYPE is all you get.
- When I was little I was tested for blood type twice and both times yield different result. Later on I found out that one of the test was done incorrectly. Blood test sometimes yield different result is due to the fact that the chemical they use to test the blood may be either contaminated or outdated. Also there are instances they accidentally mix the sample of blood with another person, you'll be surprise how often that happen behind closed door. One other reason is due to chemical mixture in that person's blood which may yield different result. There are actually two standards the hospital use; ABO system (defines blood type by protein and carbohydrate on the membrane of the red blood cell) and the Rhesus system (use RH + & - to define blood type) Rarely there are time where a person's red blood cell membrane carry two different % of protein and carbohydrate but their quantity is closely together, in this case the ABO system would not be able to definitely define a person's blood type. But these cases are very rare. Most likely what happened to your friend is due to human error, but he should always know he's blood type in case of emergency.
