Blood Drug Testing

blood tests?

My husband received blood tests back yesterday.They show that he has a low blood count and also low sodium.His doctor is having the tests repeated as he was not well at the time that the tests were taken.What could be a reason for the low blood count and the sodium?Thanks.

1. i work in pathology and dont know what you mean by 'low blood count' ?? is it low white cell count low red cell count or low haemaglobin? there are many parts of blood.
