How much do blood tests cost?

I have an MD that I see that is out of my HMO network. She wants to do some blood tests that my HMO won't cover. Does anybody know where I can find a site that lists prices of individual blood tests that I could use for comparison? Thanks!

1. It all depends on what each lab charges for the blood tests. There is no set price on anything medical so the cost can vary. Have you called your HMO to discuss this with them? Sometimes when doctor orders things outside your HMO plan they will be covered if they are ordered by your plan provider. Call your HMO and check into this. Also if you could find out what lab will run the tests you could call the lab and ask but check with your HMO first about getting this approved since you doc ordered it.
