10 weeks late and still negative tests, should i have a blood test?
I came off the depo injection in november and only took one shot. I've had a period since then but now I've not had a period for 10 weeks. Preg tests are negative, should I take a blood test or am I just not preg?

- You need to see your dr. They will probably do a blood test. If that is negative they will probably give you some meds to regulate your period. Good luck.
- I would go have a blood test just to be sure. Sometimes your body doesn't produce enough hormones to be picked up on HPTs...although 10 weeks is a long time. But I would go just to put my mind at ease!
- no you should get provera. it sounds like your not pregnant, sorry to say. go to the dr. tell them that you think you might be pregnant so that they will do a test to make sure your not then if your not they will put you on medication to restart your period.
- I would take a blood test. If that is also negative, talk to your doctor about a prescription medication to help you regulate your cycle. Good luck!
- I would at least go see your doc. I've heard of women that were pregnant even though the urine tests came up negative.
- Having irregular periods after getting of the Depo shot is pretty normal. I dont think I got back on to a normal cycle for about 5 months after the last time I was suppose to get the shot. I would still go talk to your doctor about getting a blood test to test for pregnancy. If its negative, I'm sure she'll put you on a medication to make you start your period.
- yes, the test could all be false positives.
