Blood Drug Testing

HiI am on my 2nd cycle of clomid . Can blood tests reveal pregnancy on day 21 of my cycle?

I am being monitored on my days 14 and 21 with utltrasounds and blood tests! So far so good. But can my blood test on day 21 reveal a positive pregnancy?

1. Unfortuantly no. It would be way too early to see that. They are probably only looking at the progesterone level, and that is not a marker for pregnancy. What they are really looking for is to see if you have ovulated or not. I have done lots of searching online as to what "normal" levels are that early on, and really as long as it's above 14, that's good. I know some doctors really want them higher when it is a drug assisted O, but my Dr was always pleased with numbers that high. Take it easy, and try to stay calm. The waiting is horrible, but hopefully everything will work out!

If you mean the progesterone bloodtest on cd21, no they look only for progesterone, although my last cycle my cd21 progesterone bloodtest reveal a level of 93 (apparently that's really high which can be indicative of pg) and it turned out to be a chemical pregnancy, however if they are actually looking for the hcg in your blood, then yes it may be possible depending on date of conception (implantation). although it may be a tad early still.
