i ahve had several high liver blood tests with everything esle no hepatiste aborc my doctor ordered ultrasound

nothing wrong with my test but high colestral

1. Sorry, your question is not very clear. It would help to be more specific if possible. A liver ultrasound is not uncomfortable or risky. You need not worry about the test. We can't tell you what your doctor is thinking or looking for here. Since you put this in the "Cancer" section, this may be your concern. Liver enzyme elevation is not a specific finding for liver cancer. Medications or alcohol are much more common causes for abnormal liver enzyme elevations. I would not order a test for a patient without explaining what I was looking for. If I were the patient, I would not agree to have a test done without knowing the reason for it and what the prescribing physician is looking for.
