  1. I think you really should be talking to you GP about the blood test results.
  2. Didn't the Doc discuss the medical results and prescibe any treatment or medication,? If not go back and ask.

Check for glandular imbalance Good luck
  4. Don;t be afraid to ask questions or to ask for a second opinion,I wish I had last September, my husband was mis diagnosed and now he is incurable.
  5. my bf had a similar problem over xmas and doc said that his liver function tests may be abnormal due to a viral illness, he had repeat tests done 4 weeks later and they were completely normal again, so dont worry until he gets his 2nd results back
  6. You don't mention alcohol. Didn't your GP ask about drinking habits? If he drinks more than occasionally I would suggest stopping at least until the next blood test. The only things I've ever taken which improve liver function in a way which I can really feel is Milk Thistle & Alpha Lipoic Acid, both available in the UK. This will be especially important if they find unchanged liver function - they will need to look further into why this might be. Ask to be referred to a specialist, your GP's knowledge in this area will be limited.
