Blood Drug Testing

How long does the entire process of donating plasma or blood take, from donation to someone receiving blood?

How long after you give blood/plasme until someone actually receives it- including testing the blood or plasma and all that.

1. According to the red cross, it takes s12-16 hours for the blood to be tested for diseases once it's reached a laboratory, then it is shipped out to hospitals, etc. So, I would guess it takes at least 2-3 days from donor to patient.
