Blood Drug Testing

5 negative pregnancy tests, 1 negative blood test 4 days late still no period!?

Hi there Me and my partner have been trying to get pregnant for 6 months now. I am usually 28 day cycle. I have been checking my cervix position and mucus for the past couple of months. My cervix is high and wet and has been for the past few days. I was due on Fri 15th March and it is Tues 18th now so I am 4 days late. I have done 5 tests including extra sensitive ones that you can do up to 7 days early and 2 clearblue ones, they all say negative. I had a blood test done at the hospital which came back today- negative. Should my cervix be high pointing downwards if I am going to come on? Or should it be low? I know it has only been 4 days but I am usually on time and we did have sex nearly every day last month. Also my nipples have a blue vein running through each one which I have never noticed before, could this be a sign of pregnancy? I just want to know the suspense is killing me! Anyone else in the same position or got any answers? Thanks xxx Hi thanks for the answers. I came on today, seems like a lot of us are in the same position. If theres one thing I've learnt Im gonna stop stressing about it next month. If it's gonna happen it will, no matter how high my cervix feels or if my boobs look different!! lol. So thanks again we'll see what happens next month but I promise I'll take no pregnancy tests until I'm at least 7 days late. Ive spent loads of money and pointless trips to the doctors for nothing. Not going to get disappointed though, going to concentrate on eating well and book a holiday. Thanks again xxxxx

  1. My period is never ontime...and when I start to worry about it...it takes longer for it to show up....I'd just relax....if you are trying to get preggers, don't worry about it...you only prolong your period.....
  2. I just went through this. My AF was due on Thursday, and I had all negative pregnancy tests, and I thought for sure I had to be pregnant, it was my longest luteal phase and my temps were still high, as of yesterday I was 5 days late, and then I got my period late last night. Hope you have better luck then I did....
  3. You cannot tell if you are pregnant due to cervix position, there is no scientific evidence that claims a cervix to be in a certain position once pregnant (frustrating, I know). You could have ovulated later and hence your period is coming later - it is VERY common, especially with the stressors of ttc. I've been in this position quite a couple times. Save yourself time energy and money by relaxing. Too much stress can cause other problems detrimental to your normal and ttc health. Good luck
