Blood Drug Testing

I consume approx 8 - 10 oz of wine daily, will it show in a blood test if I quit for 8 days, previous to test?

This is really not something I want to share but am looking for information on my situation. I am a 5'4, 112 lb woman and consume approximately 8 - 12 oz of alcohol daily. I have a pre-employment medical in 8 days, which includes drug and alcohol testing. I'm worried I will not pass this medical but hope that if I sustaine from drinking any beverages for the next 8 days would this allow me to pass the urine & blood tests or am I dreaming? Looking for advice!

1. Alcohol, no problem, Drugs, you loose.
2. Alcohol is legal, how are they able to test for that for employment? Alcohol leaves your system pretty quickly. You could abstain for even just a day or two and be fine.
3. You could stop like 2 days before and it wouldn't show. 8 days don't even sweat it.

5. 72 hours and alcohol is gone out of your system. The only place I worked that tested for alcohol was the post office and an aicrcraft facility--the rest check of all things a sinus pill.

7. hi , if you drink that much every day maybe you should ask yourself if you can stop , not just for the alcohol test but for your own health . if you find that you cant stop there is a solution. look up your local AA group .
8. No problem with alcohol it quickly leaves the blood stream through urine and lungs besides it is legal anyway as for drugs stop now but still may show up depending on what type of drug it is. Weed takes two weeks to a month. go to gnc or heath store and get the herb that flushes your system. and do not eat poppy seeds before the test because you will show positive for cocaine.
9. 8 day's you will not have any problem at all, To play it safe I used to stop 36 HR before the test and never had a problem.... My only problem was stopping for 36 HR....
