How long to blood test results take?

I had a blood test last Monday, and I was just wondering how long will it take for the results to come through? Ohh, the test is just general because I fainted twice recently so I imagin, diabetes, blood sugar levels and that sort of thing

1. depends on the test ordered and the lab itself. call your doc and ask when to expect results. they will get the results sent to them by the lab as soon as the results are in, but sometimes the doc sits on them til he has time to contact you. if you call, you may get results a bit sooner. some tests are sent out to bigger labs, and some tests may only be run on certain days. thats why i say to call your doc and ask so you can relax a bit. out of curiosity, what was the test for? if it has been a week, i would be wondering about it myself! just read your edit...you should have results by now.good luck :)
2. it takes up to two weeks,, normally its one week but as i said sometimes it can take up to two. hope they all claer.
3. about 2 to 3 days
4. they should be done, it only take an hour so so to do the test, but the numbers of test done by any one lab requires about a 3 to 4 day period. they are usually send to your doctor
