How long does it take for blood preg test results to come back?

I am having to get some cells on my cervix checked because they were abnormal on my last pap, but there is a really good chance that I could be pregnant. They are gonna do a blood test that day also, but will they be same day results or will I have to wait to get them another day? I really dont want them messing with my cervix like that if I am preg.....

1. Generally it takes a day for the blood results to come back. It depends on what kind of office you did it in also. If they have to send out the bloodwork it may take up to 2 days, but if they just test there in the lab or hospital then generally the results are in the next morning.
2. same thing is going to happen to me soon..well i worked in a clinic in lab b4, and it depends why kind of lab your clinic has, they might not have the instruments to result the blood, they might have to send it to another hospital or clinic. Ask your doc and tell him that you want the results that day or even right then and there b4 the exam, then they will send it stat to w.e lab they must send it to..
3. Most blood test can come back the next day to maybe 2 days. Mine came back in 2 days.
4. prolly a couple of days.
5. I had mine done at the hospital/clinic. The results usually are back within an hour or 2.
