How long for Blood Pregnancy Test Results?

I go in to the hospital tomorrow for a blood test. How long does it usually take to get the results back? I'm pretty anxious, so I don't want to wait!!!

1. i waited at the doctors office and they had mine ready in 45 minutes, well worth the wait! i am 17 weeks pregnant with #4
2. If your doctor puts a "rush" on the results they should be ready the same day. I was able to call in and get mine about 2 hours later (ask the lab to give you a phone number to call to get results rather than have to call your doc)

It's only one day, son don't worry and wish you the best of luck, I just went to a 3 of them (quantitative and they call me always the next day to let me know how my leves were going, if yours is a qualitative test which means it will only give you an answer as of you are or you are not pregnant they will do it tomorrow and if they work on saturday they can tell you then but if they don't work you will have to wait until monday!! Good Luck, try to stay positive and don't think all day long about it !!
4. Depends on how busy they are and how willing they are to give you results. I had such good rapport with my dr. (and because I had a risk pregnancies), she called me 4-6 hours after the blood was drawn. I went in to emergerncy for spotting during pregnancy in November. I knew within 3 hours when I finally saw the dr. It really depends. good luck :) Christine
5. if u go to the hosptial they should tell u before u leave that day sometimes it may be the next day
