How Long Until a Pregnancy Blood Test Will be Accurate?

If I was to be pregnant, I would only be two or three days pregnant. I took a blood test today and it showed 0 levels of pregnancy hormone. Is that possibly because I took the blood test too early, or would the blood test anyway pick up some levels of pregnancy hormone in my body after two or three days?

1. Two or three days after implantation the blood test will show HCG hormones. There is no telling when you implant. On average 7-10 days after ovulation.
