how accurate are doctors urine pregnancy tests?

i was just wondering how accurate they are, when a doctor takes a urine sample from you to detect pregnancy. I googled the answer, but all it came up with was home pregnancy tests. i know blood tests are suppsoed to be the most accurate, but once again, How accurate areurine preg tests taken at your family doctors ?

2. i would say they are accurate.... of course it might not be 100% accurate like the blood test but...... i had a urine and blood test and both were positive :) 19 weeks 3days
3. The same accuracy as home tests. As long as they are done right, they are all the same.
4. my opinion is i think they cheat the test...cuz u dont actually see them do it...October of 2006 on 12th i had went in for the pills and the woman took a final test and it was negative....well she checked me out and i started hurting and so she sent me home w/o the pills and about 3 weeks later had a home preg test and it was positive and found out i was 7 weeks pregnant....i was pregnant when that dr took a urine preg test.....so i think they cheat u...if ur over 20 its positive but if ur under 20 its negative....of course thats the type of county i live in....might be dif wit u
