Blood Pregnancy Test? How Accurate?
I was in the ER last week and they said they did a blood pregnany test (before the IV obviously!) that was 5 days BEFORE I was supposed to start. and now I am 3 days late and have NO signs of starting like I normally do. Could that Negative from the blood test be wrong? Doubtful but just wondering if that can happen! Thanks

- It is 100% accurate. A blood test will show a pregnancy as early as three days into conception. I don't believe you could be pregnant.
- My sister had a blood test done, negative and she was put on Provera to start her period. She took the medication and STILL didn't start her period so she took an hpt and sure enough, she was pregnant. This was 2 weeks after she had the blood test. Luckly, the Provera didn't harm my nephew in any way. So, YES, no matter what anyone says, they can be wrong. I would take another test. Good luck hun
